DONT OFFER DUIT ''KOPI''

WARNING : DON'T OFFER DUIT KOPI FROM NOW ON!

DEAR FRIENDS,
If you have ever paid or are thinking of paying ' Coffee Money' when stopped for traffic or other offences, DON'T EVER Do This Again. The traffic department (JPJ) has recently started a campaign to be rid of corruption..

Every Officer on duty will be rewarded with RM100.00 if they report each case of bribery to the department. This is how they do (trick you into) it. They will note down the details of your IC/MyKad, and ask you how you want to settle ( 'Macam mana nak selesai?' ). If you indicate yes or even offer to give them any money, they will report the incident by rejecting your 'Kopi Money' and get the RM100.00 instead as an incentive for their integrity and 'Honest' pubicity.
This means that You will end up having a summon issued to you and perhaps a charge for bribery.

SO DON'T PAY DUIT KOPI AGAIN,
especially if you hope to go free with a lesser amount of money compared to the fine. Even if you want to pay over RM200, the JPJ Officers would rather have a 'good' name than to take your kopi money. Just beware of their trick because the cops are now accumulating 'cookies' points for their promotion and pay increment - with your help if possible.

They should have done this to stop corruption long time ago...but anyway it's better late than never, right?

P/S : SPREAD THIS MESSAGE TO EDUCATE OTHERS ON THIS NEW ANTI-RASUAH POLICY! AND DON'T YOU DARE TO CORRUPT ANY JPJ OR EVEN POLICE OFFICERS AGAIN!

MY PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY

My name is Azura A Samad. I was born on 14th June, 1984. I’ve grown up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have three brothers and two sisters. I was in a middle among my siblings. For now, I’m a student in a well-known college called Pintar College in LCCI Business English.

Except for study’s hours, I spend almost rest of my time for career work. I’ve been working in company construction for an organization which is known as KSB, for 3 years. This organization is available for people who wanting to prove their leadership skills as well as having chance to express themselves. To be honest, I feel really lucky to be one of the represent center for this organization in Selangor. Together with more than 50 other staff, we’ve built up lots of events which can make us proud everytime we talk about us. One of the most memorable event of last 2 years was a pretty big annual party at EASTIN Hotel and also celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri for the muslim staff.. As a result, we saw how useful we, as well as our organization, could be.

On the other hand, just like any others who are at the same age as me, I love music. Malaysian, Indonesian and American tunes always lift me up so high. I can hardly think of a day in my life without music. People can rarely find me without my headphones and MP3. If they do, it means I’m doing things which I take really seriously.

For my social life, I love to spend my time with my buddies and family. In a weekend I like to go to watching movies with my buddy or go somewhere interesting place to release tension. Normally I’ll going to chill out with a best activities like a karaoke or travelling. There’s something I find pretty strange about myself. Easily, I can imagine every part of my life, every scene, has its own soundtrack fitting so perfectly, just like a movie. Do you think that’s pretty interesting??

Right now, I don’t know what I’m going to do in the future. But I don’t want to think about that much now. ‘Cos I just want to live the way I am. You may also get that as the goal of my life. I mean, that is overwhelming. It’s motivation to me to do even better. I believe in myself...... if you believe in yourself, even nobody else does you’ll accomplish everything. Don’t worry about what people have to say ‘cos not everybody is always going to like what we do right? Just know that you are you and you are being the best that you can be. And I… I just have faith in myself. I know..FAITH will, it will takes me all the way.

No Stress To Fatal Stress

"I would like to share with you an actual but very sad occurrence which I hope may get you guys to ponder over what constitutes anxieties, extremities and unnecessary over reactions. A long story... But worth reading for lessons learned.... You may want to pass on to others.

One of my friend's father who is a retiree in his mid-60s, is perfectly healthy looking and behaving normal, plays his round of golf each Sunday, does a fair bit of gardening, keeps himself busy the rest of his time helping his son's (my friend's) little retail business, and goes on tour/trips every now and then .....

He was persuaded by his daughters and other well wishers to go for His medical checkup which he had last done before retirement some 10 years ago. He didn't see the need to do it as he was feeling perfectly ok and healthy. Of course he didn't want to spend the money. After persistent persuasion from his family he finally gave in (his daughters agreed to foot the bill).

First his blood test revealed a total cholesterol count well above the 5.2 threshold (in fact close to 6). The doctor advised that he went for his stressed ECG test.

Again he had to be persistently persuaded to go thru that test, which he did. And it revealed some abnormality with his heart.

Now the doctor advised that he went thru angiogram. He resisted again and again after much pestering he subscribed to that invasive test.....which revealed three (3) blockages in his heart. And the doctor advised he went thru angioplasty.

This time he was adamant not to go any further. But it was like the end of the world for his family members who were all highly educated people with learned common sense. They went thru the highest mountains and deepest oceans to convince the old man to go thru angioplasty.

The surgery was successful. And he was given a clean bill of health. His hear t is revitalized and cleared of all blockages. After returning Home from the hospital, his family (especially his daughters) put him on a "healthy" diet. Strictly no meat...only vegetables and fruits, with perhaps an occasional dish of steamed fish... No oil.

The result.... The poor old man became weaker, couldn't drive his golf ball the distance he used to, got tired easily when he did his gardening, lost a lot of weight (which everyone was happy because they see him getting healthier that way), went to bed unusually early ('cause he got tired sitting up late watching the sports channels)... . In a nutshell he actually got weaker and probably suffering from malnutrition!

Hardly 2 months after the angioplasty he passed away, supposedly from Heart Complications. . All of a sudden, a few family doctor friends were able to offer explanations. One of them had this to say...

Heart blockages do not happen over-night. They are built up of time. And the body has somehow gotten used to the blockages. As long as the effects of the blockages are not life threatening, it may be best leaving them alone. Maybe it is better not to know about this. For most men at that advanced age already have blockages, some may be even worse. Not knowing it has one clear advantage. There won't be any STRESS imposed on the person.

And STRESS is the killer.

Some may not respond well with angioplasty. With the heart cleared of its Blockages, the blood flow will be unrestricted. And sometimes the body (even the heart may not be used to this new revitalized condition) may not Know how to cope with it quick enough. Coupled with a "healthy" diet of Just fruits and vegetables which are not the usual and normal intake of This person, may and can do further damage.

So it's a combination of all these that could have killed this poor old man who was, just 2 months ago, a healthy bubbly man living a perfectly normal STRESS FREE retired life.

Today my friend and his siblings all regretted what they had done to their father.

Moral of the story is not to be extreme and take everything in life in its stride and with moderation.

P/S : So my friends... Don't get paranoid and stressed up for nothing!!!

Dad's call

'Hello?'

'Hi, honey. This is Daddy. Is Mommy near the phone?'
'No Daddy. She's upstairs in the bedroom with Uncle Paul.'

***Brief Pause***

Daddy says, 'But honey, you haven't got an Uncle Paul.'
'Oh yes I do, and he's upstairs in the room with Mommy, right now.'

***Brief Pause.***

'Uh, okay then, this is what I want you to do. Put the phone down on the table, run upstairs and knock on the bedroom door and shout to Mommy that Daddy's car just pulled into the driveway.'

'Okay Daddy, just a minute.'

A few minutes later the little girl comes back to the phone.

'I did it Daddy'

And what happened honey?'

'Well, Mommy got all scared, jumped out of bed with no clothes on and ran around screaming. Then she tripped over the rug, hit her head on the dresser and now she isn't moving at all!'

'Oh my God!!! What about your Uncle Paul?'

'He jumped out of the bed with no clothes on, too. He was all scared and he jumped out of the back window and into the swimming pool. But I guess he didn't know that you took out the water last week to clean it. He hit the bottom of the pool and I think he's dead.'

***Long Pause***

***Longer Pause***

***Even Longer Pause***

Then Daddy says, 'Swimming pool ?? We dont have a swimming pool !! Ah, is this 486-5731 ??'

No, this is 486-5713.... .

'SORRY WRONG NUMBER !'

Angry Wife

A guy was sitting quietly reading his paper when his wife walked up behind him and whacked him on the head with a magazine.
'What was that for?' he asked.

'That was for the piece of paper in your pants pocket with the name Laura Lou written on it,' she replied.

Two weeks ago when I went to the races, Laura Lou was the name of one of the horses I bet on,' he explained.

'Oh honey, I'm sorry,' she said. 'I should have known there was a good explanation '

Three days later he was watching a ball game on TV when she walked up and hit him in the head again, this time with the iron skillet, which knocked him out cold.

When he came to, he asked, 'What the hell was that for?'
She replied...
'Your horse called.'

The Donkey and The Dog

Read this and decide who is intelligent, The DONKEY or The DOG…

The Donkey and The Dog- Read and think-You may find one in your midst

There was once a washer man who had a donkey and a dog. One night when the whole world was sleeping, a thief broke into the house, the washer man was fast asleep too but the donkey and the dog were awake. The dog decided not to bark since the master did not take good care of him and wanted to teach him a lesson.

The donkey got worried and said to the dog that if he doesn't bark, the donkey will have to do something himself. The dog did not change his mind and the donkey started braying loudly.

Hearing the donkey bray, the thief ran away, the master woke up and started beating the donkey for braying in the middle of the night for no reason.

Moral of the story “One must not engage in duties other than his own"

Now take a new look at the same story...

The washer man was a well educated man from a premier management institute. He had the fundas of looking at the bigger picture and thinking out of the box. He was convinced that there must be some reason for the donkey to bray in the night.. He walked outside a little and did some fact finding, applied a bottom up approach, figured out from the ground realities that there was a thief who broke in and the donkey only wanted to alert him about it. Looking at the donkey's extra initiative and going beyond the call of the duty, he rewarded him with lot of hay and other perks and became his favorite pet.

The dog's life didn't change much, except that now the donkey was more motivated in doing the dog's duties as well. In the annual appraisal the dog managed "ME" (Met Expectations) .

Soon the dog realized that the donkey is taking care of his duties and he can enjoy his life sleeping and lazing around.

The donkey was rated as “star performer". The donkey had to live up to his already high performance standards.

Soon he was over burdened with work and always under pressure and now is looking for a NEW JOB ... !!!!
